There was a Coot with two babies, and a Moorhen with one chick on the east pond. A male Grey Heron at the south end of The Flash, and a female at the north end. They have been around for a week now.
There is also a Great Crested Grebe with a chick, and five Mallard ducklings hungrily scuttling round the banks like a gaggle of school girls. Lots of noisy Canada Geese, now flown away, leaving the lake to a few Greylags.
